CUSTOMER SERVICE

VanEssential is looking for a responsible team member to lead our customer service needs in our Boulder CO location. We are a growing company in the van conversion industry that manufactures and distribute high-quality window covers and other van accessories direct to consumers and throughout our van building wholesale network. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, ready to roll up their sleeves when work is needed, and be able to ensure our customers treated with the upmost care.

 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Answer all phone calls and assist customers with their purchase or compatibility questions with their vans

  2. Answer all email inquiries daily (inbox zero).

  3. Communicate order changes to the warehouse and any other department needed. 

  4. Help maintain and build new digital file organization systems inside the company.

  5. Process returns and refunds in accordance with company policy, systems, and procedures.

  6. Provide general support to visitors, customers, team members and any other general customer service needs as needed. 

  7. Organize and support customer and sales rep mailing including sales programs and product. 

  8. Attend internal and external meetings as requested

  9. Travel and attend and provide support at trade shows as requested. 

  10. Travel and attend and support field events as needed. 

  11. Help build out future FAQ and customer service ticket system. 

 

Applicants must possess:

  1. Be at least 21 years of age and possess a proper and valid driver’s license.

  2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  3. Strong computer literacy with Apple products (we don’t use PC). Knowledge of ShipStation, Wix Ecommerce, MS Office and Amazon Seller Central is a plus.

  4. Be dependable with excellent time management and the ability to prioritize work with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Able to work independently without supervision will be important. 

  5. Have, or quickly develop, comprehensive knowledge of our product and the van industry. Being into the outdoors/living out of vans or having completed your own van conversion is a helpful.

  6. Be a driven and independent thinker with an attention to detail and work well with others with a positive and open mind. 

  7. Have a dedicated focus on the customer experience through, phone answering and email communication.

Salary: $45,000
